Since 2007, I work at Philips Research in Eindhoven in the group Brain, Body & Behavior. I have worked on topics ranging from cognition & emotion, psychophysiological measurements of emotions, haptics, user experience assessment via psychophysiology, light therapy to relieve muscle pain, psychology of pain, and most recently I have started to work to study user interaction with light in the context of psychiatry and mental healthcare.
Scientific interests: combining basic and applied research, emotion, psychophysiology, user experiences, psychology of pain, mental healthcare, stimulus-response compatibility, cognitive control, affective-information processing, multimodal (audiovisual) information processing.
